This is one for wrestling fans. I need to come up with a name for the new IJ server. I always name my server after silly wrestling gimmicks. Here are examples of server names that I have had

shockmaster
blazer (i.e. "The Blue Blazer" aka Owen Hart)
warrior (i.e. "The Ultimate Warrior)
chyna

Edit: I've been thinking all day, and bossman is what stuck in my head. So it has been dubbed!

      Heh, I like bossman, that works as a server name .. I'll wait for a few more suggestions, but that is currently the front runner.

        Hee. I just realised that most of my favourite wrestlers are either dead or near retirement. (lol, Ric Flair.)


        I remember back in the day when wrestling was good and there was no little Hornswoggle running through black entryways ala the Road Runner.

        I never thought I'd look back wistfully on the days when Mae Young gave birth to a hand.

    K, that taps me for the moment. Out of all of these, though, Badstreet is my favorite name.

    Well, if you had three servers you could collectively call them The Three Faces of Foley.

    But for an individual server I'd suggest Mankind.

    Probably too late now, but (for future reference) if you should need to upgrade to another server in the near future, you could name that one The Rock.

    Hmmmm....wrestling. That brings back some memories. Went to a few matches in the 1990's at Hershey Park Arena to see The Undertaker.

    And to get old school, some of wrestlers I remember from my childhood:

    Oh! I love coming and reading this journal just for this. If you ever get a new one? I say you have to totally go for the gold and name one Pepe. ;) After Chavo's friend, of course. :D

    Yeah, I'm a mark. Sad to say it. :[ But a smart mark, in some ways too, honestly. I don't buy into ALL of it.

    squeaky! i have an...interesting question to ask you. i wasn't sure whether to ask you here or submit it to support but it's a simple yes or no question! on greatestjournal, if we had nudity in our icons, we'd get suspended. would that happen if any of us did the same here? nothing big, just a little bit of nip here and there considering nudity is a form of art to some people. a quick yes or no to nudity would suffice! thank you!

    I love good server and computer names. I've used Vulcan names on mine. Careful, though- sometimes boxen take on the personalities you've named them.

    Guess you've probably heard that GJ is going down like the Titanic, so you'll probably have a chance to name even more servers.

    Hey Squeaky, my name is Lesley and I want to move my game to your site. So, I wanted to ask you something first, and this is the only way that I knew you would directly get my comment.

    My friend and I have had this private RPG going for about four years now, and in that time, many characters have been created, just between the two of us, on GreatestJournal. We really want to move here, but we were worried that the sudden influx of usernames coming from two email addresses would rouse suspicion of journal-hoarding.

    I would hate to make you think that we were journal-hoarding, when we're just trying to replenish our RPG, so I was wondering if you had some sort of rule of thumb when it came to journal creation? Is there something special we should do, or do you generally stay pretty calm about that sort of thing? Basically, is it okay for us to make journals for all of our characters over here, if it's just the two of us?

    Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

      We do not currently have a policy limiting the number of usernames you can have.

    hi :-( i don't mean to sound pushy or ignorant or spoiled or anything because you really are a great maintainer of this tremendous project but i was wondering were you thinking of adding any notification features? its just really bothersome for people who don't check their emails to keep referring back to it to check replies. i hope something can be done about this issue and sorry again for posting this in the wrong spot :-(

      I don't know, I am terrible with these kinds of things. I personally would just call i the Open Party, but I am sure someone else can come up with a better idea than that.
