The full page ads are going to be gone completely, they just aren't bringing in enough revenue for me to be willing to take the hit on how they affect the site. It's going to take a few hours for them to cycle out of the rotation, but they will be gone by the end of the day.

Thank you all for your feedback and willingness to have a civil discussion. We are still looking at and testing several different ad networks. Please let us know if you start to get warnings from your virus protection or start to see more ads that have auto start video or audio.

	Oh man, I thought they brought in more? Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can find a better ad source to give you what you need. I think if we made some updates to IJ, you may even be able to slightly increase your paid rates? (Reply to this) (Thread)

I've gotten a number of virus pop ups and prompts to execute/approve of installations that I haven't initiated. Is this because of the ads?

I'm not sure if it would be more trouble than it's worth, but have you considered maybe adding custom userheads (like LJ has) to add more revenue? I know that I'd throw some money at you to get one for each of my accounts. Just a thought. :)

I'm not sure where to ask this, but I just upgraded an account of mine to a permanent account, and I was so excited to be able to use the texting feature, but I have At&t, and it's not listed. When I went to the FAQs, it said to send an email if LJ supports our carrier, but it's not listed, and that's the case. I also put in a support ticket to see if anyone could help. This is the info I got from LJ (and if I need to let someone else know, I'd greatly appreciate a push in the right direction):

I don't mean to be a pest on your personal account, but I'm trying to get a response to this. I had my paypal charge me for a permanent account (yes, I paid for it), but my account has yet to be upgraded, and the paid time I purchased for my friend on the same account has yet to come through as well. I have the receipt from PayPal, but IJ has yet to send me one. Is there anyway to resolve this?

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask, but I wondered if there would in future be a policy of deleting all comments and community posts of journals that have been deactivated/deleted, much like livejournal operates.

When logged into my other journal that isn't paid I saw an ad for this site that encouraged me to chat with "horny Russian women now". I figured you'd want to know because if anyone underage saw that would be really inappropriate.

I've been getting that a lot too. I don't mind ads, I get they are needed, but these seem inapproriate for the type of site insanejournal is.

Speaking of ads, what's up with all the porn ads lately? I've had ads for Russian brides for over a week now and rest assured, it's not due to my browsing history since I log in from work a lot.
