Okay, I have noticed some people have noticed that I have not been very active in updating the site and getting things up to date. I have to fess up to this. My mind has been elsewhere. Work has been getting hectic. I got my yearly review, and it didn't go so well. Last year I spent so much time in IJ, that I neglected my real job. So this year I have been pouring all of my attention into it. I have been working on a big project that is nearing completion. Once this is done, I will have more time to dedicate to this site.

There are a number of bugs that need to be fixed, and will be fixed with the next update from the LJ source tree. This is going to be a big update and will take me awhile to merge the code into the InsaneJournal tree. Once that is done, I really need a large number of users to help me test things. You need to find things that you know are currently broken and test them against the new code.

Also in this code update are some changes that help block the comment spam that we are getting. I am fighting it every day, thanks to the spam reports that you all are sending in, we have done a great job of slowing the amount that is able to get by. But some is still getting by.

I just really want you all to know, that I am not ignoring IJ, it's just that life outside of IJ has gotten in the way. I will be doing everything I can to get the activity on this site back up as soon as humanly possible.
